The timing is perfect and the shapes beautiful.

As usual, I like that your drops are in focus and the waves out of it. The play of softness and sharpness works very well.

I'm not sure whether the focus is spot on or a millimetre behind... It's hard to tell without zooming in completely. Only because of this little doubt I'm not maxing the technique star rating -- perhaps this is being unfair.

The colors are unusual yet beautifully balanced. The strong contrast, with the backlit underexposed subject works very well.

I don't know what you pick for backgrounds, but they suit the pic very well. This one's shading off to the left is a nice touch. It makes the picture feel deeper and the simple composition more interesting.

Now this is just my taste : I would remove the underwater sinking drop and crop a slice out from the bottom. Also, I would smooth out those kind of wrickles you can make out in the flat, foremost part of the pic. But of course that would be photo manipulation. Short of it, I can't see what could improve this picture. It's pretty good as it is.
